Ladies and gentlemen,
It has been brought to my attention that several charges have been laid against me at the following website: http://bananadefender.blogspot.com/
Well well well. It appears that the Ahern-Embrey administration is up to its old tactics. Whenever they perceive a substantial threat, their immediate response–or that of several supporters– is a barrage of character slanders and obscure, ridiculous accusations. Usually devoid of actual proof.
I’ll admit I’m touched to have registered as a threat. But it appears that amidst my 12-14 hour workday, I must somehow find time to refute this silly slander, lest the ISLAS public again be deceived by the Ahern-Embrey administration.
The first accusation laid at my door is as follows, and I quote: “...she blasts Ahern for stuff he doesn’t even do. Or for good stuff he does do.”
This is entirely too vague to formulate a defense against. Examples, please.
Secondly, I’m accused of being engaged in “horseriding, a brutal ritual in which a horse is kicked until it will move.”
...oh, please. This ought to crack up anyone who knows anything about horses. Doubtless there are some people who ascribe to this theory (often people who know nothing about horses. I think our dear anonymous writer may be one). Horseriding is an art. The two are a team, not an owner and slave. Do we really want an equine-ignorant administration in office? Come on!
As for the third accusation...I’m afraid the mysterious source got his/her information mixed up. While I have the highest respect for those of the artistic bent (an attitude deplorably lacking in said mysterious source) I have very little talent in that direction.
But allow me to assure the people of ISLAS that this is a perfect example of the deceptive and narrow-minded slander characteristic of the Ahern-Embrey administration. All the promise of fact-manipulation their campaign showed during the race has been fulfilled in a most dramatic fashion. We can only hope the ISLAS public will recognize the deadly–and even worse, ignorant–influence of the Ahern-Embrey administration.
In conclusion, I request that President Ahern immediately reject all claims made by the anonymous blog owner, or any association therewith. Otherwise, his administration must suffer the consequences of an over zealous, mis-informed, and anonymous personage.
And just for the record, I’d also like to point out that any and all quotes attributed to myself not specifically verified on the Impeachment or Bust website are false, and just another attempt at character slander.
Impeach President John Ahern. He’s crazy.
Thank you.

I hope you slip on a bananna for what you said and what you did to Rufus!
Ahern-Embrey. *shakes head*
They're always up to something.
My dear Miss Hunter and Miss Russell,
I acquiesce. The Ahern Embrey administration fully disassociates itself from this Banana Thingy and the Islas Periodical.
Oh, and I'm intrigued by your blog. Especially your liberal use of capital letters, your paratactic style, your intense demagoguery. I wonder of what this is indicative. Surely not desperation, frustration, at the lack of success? Surely not, no!
Keep up the good work. Oh, condescension is so fun.
