When the article on the famed blog, Banana Defender, was brought to Ms. Lauren's attention, she looked up from her Greek text, pencil suspended in mid-air. "Oh, yes, I read that article," she told reporters, "What a load of utter nonsense. Whoever wrote it is off his nut a mile and a half. I really don't know where these people get their crazy stories."
Ms. Lauren, co-author of the "Impeachment or Bust" blog would like to bring to the public's attention that any quotes quoted on either the blog Sophisticator, or the Defender, are utterly and entirely wrong, unless she announces otherwise.
Our reporter, having been served a cup of Earl Grey tea by the charming Ms. Lauren, asks about the claim made by the Defender that she places money at highest priority. "Of course not! That quote is utterly false. And as for the assumption that I am constantly in Versace or Gucci, that's really ridiculous. Look --" she waves a hand at the table in front of her, piled high with papers and books -- "does it look like I have the time to go shopping for designer clothes?"
Ms. Lauren tells us she was flattered by Mr. N. Bertilson's comments, but the rumor that he's the top choice in suitors because of his admiration and money is simply false. "I marry for love. Not money," was her consise rebuttal.
As we walk out the door, we see that Ms. Lauren is again hard at work, leaving no doubt in our minds that the co-author of "Impeachment or Bust" is an admirable young lady, and the claims on The Banana Defender must surely be false.

I'm glad you're flattered. But, saying I'm rich to any extent is a sad overestimation. Or something good like that. The comments I made were merely to point out to certain members of Islas how important Lauren really is. I have taken some trouble to assure myself that, though Ms. Lauren is obviously much too pretty for her own good, any consideration of matrimony between us is absolutely out of the question, mainly because she's at least near a year older than me.
Good article. Thanks. Keep up the good work.
